It's refreshing to finally see an oilman coming forward with an energy plan, and it's not about oil...other than reducing our dependence on foreign oil. I don't know too much about Texas oilman T Boone Pickens, but I'm liking what I've seen from him over the last year. He just released My Plan to Escape the Grip of Foreign Oil, which seems like a sensible start to develop wind farms, but I'm wondering why he doesn't mention nuclear energy. I like the idea of wind energy, but we should still lift the obstacles to building nuclear power plants, developing coal sands technology, and drilling in ANWR and offshore.Right now, our dependence on foreign oil is our Achille's Tendon, and you know what happens when that tendon is cut.
